Web Designer and owner, Pam Jones,  provides quality website development services, including website design, copy writing, hosting, maintenance, internet marketing and online promotion. Clearwater Web Solutions is located in Orofino, Idaho although our clients are located across the United States.

Pam Jones owner of Clearwater Web SolutionsPam became involved with the Internet in late 1997 while trying to find out how to market another business she was involved with. Through her experiences, and numerous hours online, she found that there is a lot of misinformation and hype about how to successfully operate a web site for business purposes. She also found some very valuable resources and information. People started asking her for advice and she eventually started Profit Power Internet Promotions.

Her first web site was mainly for her own information. It was a convenient place where she could go to find the valuable resources she wanted to utilize. It was easier for her to find things when they were presented in an organized manner from her web site than in her “favorites” in her Internet browser or from files on her hard drive. She could easily hyperlink the resources on the site and access them on the Internet. When people asked her for advice, she referred them to her web site.

She found that by publishing an online newsletter, she could offer her services and other products she found useful. The newsletter also helped her establish a mailing list of people who were interested in her products and services and volunteered their email addresses.

Pam created many online associations through the regular mailings. Subscribers came from all over the world. Her first mentor was in Scotland. In the summer of 1999, she was able to meet Jerry Parkins, an associate from London, who was on tour in the US. She designed a web site for another gentleman in London using only the telephone and email. Pam was interviewed via email and a chapter was devoted to her online business in a book written in China.

Pam wrote a book entitled “How to Turn Your Web Site Into a Profit-Generating Sales Machine-The First Time”. The book is a 3-part manual covering the stages of planning, creating, and promoting a successful business web site. It has been sold in both print and e-book versions. Much of the information is now outdated and needs to be re-written to include more current information. The book has been sold in Canada, UK, Australia and the US.

Pam Jones is proof that the Internet opens the horizons for business owners in rural areas. No longer do businesses have to depend on their own neighborhoods to be successful.

In July, 2001, Pam purchased Mountain Web Services, a local web site hosting company. Rather than have two separate businesses, she combined the two companies and established Clearwater Web Solutions providing the same personal service with quick turnaround to which her customers have become accustomed.

At the beginning of 2005 Clearwater Web Solutions moved from a home office to a storefront with ValTech, owned by Joe and Charlene Douglas, in Orofino. In April 2005 Pam partnered with POVN to provide nationwide highspeed dialup and local DSL services.

Pam is also working with her partner, Joe Boswell, in helping to bring tourism to the area with four Lewis and Clark web sites: Mountain-Memories, LewisClarkNW.org, LewisClarkNW.com, and LewisAndClarkIdaho.

Pam envisions the Internet as being an integral part of most businesses in the near future. Every business owner who has an online presence will either have to have in-house staff to maintain and market their web site or outsource these responsibilities. Pam can help by providing instruction to the in-house employees or by performing outsourced services with the help of her staff.

Johnny SamskyI started working at Clearwater Web Solutions at the end of December 2007.  I was born in California and my family moved to Emmett, Idaho when I was about 4 years old.
